A little OT but my favourite Lister outfit is the series 1 ones where it was cargo pants, a t-shirt and the long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up. I had a very similar jacket and always wanted to paint the logo on the back but never did xD

Anyway, this seems very Series 3, such as Timeslides, no? But then again it looks like a completely new jacket.

I'm also intreagued as to how Rimmer is coming back, it's not crossed my mind until just now!

Simple answer is i'm not sure:

Can anyone confirm if he was on set.

Two reasons:
1st in Corrie he looks fatter as monkey_kong seems to have guessed.
2nd its a camera test, they are using it to check lighting shadows etc, even if the main actors are on site they often use body doubles for that type of test.
